Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum Trip @Sattaheep

On June 16, 2012, I had a chance to go to Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum at Sattaheep, Chonburi for leadership training with my club. When we reached there, we went to the buildings that exhibited the information of conservation and environment in Thailand.

There were 5 interesting blocks in this exhibition and each block showed different information such as:
1. Terd Phra Kiat Maharaj was about honoring the king.
2. Puan Prad Ruam Jai was about the philosophers.
3. Phai Rian Roo Phoo Chalard was about the knowledge.
4. Pi Kad Kwam Mai Dee Tee Prajuk was about removing bad things.
5. Pi Tak SakayaPhab Ta Ley Thai was about conserving Thai seas.

When we finished walking around to see all blocks, we went to join the next activity that was the interesting one in the package. It was diving into the sea to see the beautiful corals and aquatic animals. We had no worry about any dangers because we were trained about this before and were took care by the expert sailors all this trip.

Then we rode the bicycles that were provided in the package to see the scenery around the island and played beach activities together. It was the wonderful time for me feeling the beautiful nature in Thailand with friends in very cheap cost:)

The museum opens Tuesday – Sunday from 9am- 5pm. Visitors have at least two hours to see everything. Admission fees for Thais are 50 baht per person, but the cost of all beach activities is about 450 Bath per person if you go in group.

    1. Aea!! It's really okay because everyone have to be trained by many handsome sailors before diving and all of this activity, they always helped us in every moment. hehe:)

  4. Very interesting and informative. Thanks! I think it would have been better if you didn't write in the 1st person, about your experience, but more of a review and opinion. I go to Sattaheep often for diving but have never been to the museum...maybe next time.
