YouTube STAR!

Hello!! Last blog we talk about an album review of the very famous band ‘The Red Hot Chili Peppers” but this time we going to learn about new bands from the most well-known video sharing website YouTube.

Nowadays, internet is one of the most popular connections in the world. There were 2.3 billion users worldwide. As all we know “YouTube” is the best video sharing website, you can also view, upload or share videos to other person. Many music bands were created and become famous by this website, they used this website to shared their new songs or their activities to promote themselves. For example, Walk of the Earth, Pomplamoose, Jayesslee and Room39 (in Thailand) they rearrange famous well known songs in to their style and shared it in YouTube that make them become very popular. Or Whatcharawalee (in Thailand too) they write a song for their friend’s wedding and that song are very melodious then they shared it  in the website and now they have more than 30million views!! And there are also many bands I didn’t mention. And they need some factor to make them become famous.

And here are some points that make them become popular. 

1.      You must have an identity, or your own style. This can make people easy to recognize you. For example “Walk of the Earth” the cover “Somebody I used to know” (gotye) in their own style by use 5 men on 1 guitar.

2.      You have to keep practicing your song to improve your skills. 

 

     3.      Keep create new thing that’s unique. Don’t follow the trend and change your style.

   4.      Don’t be shy to show your ability. If you had a talent just shows it!

   5.      You must have an opportunity to present yourself. Choose a proper time to post your new video, or post it when the original are becoming popular.

 

6.      Sometimes you should find some sponsors to support your band. Maybe they can promote you into their book or other advertising or their event or something.

7.      Do something that’s make people hate you?? This maybe the easiest way to make people know you, but it is very risk. “The more you are hated, the more you’re popular” said Win Eiam-ong.

            You can see that here is some factor that’s make them becomes very popular. Its maybe hard but it’s still possible. And if they can do it, you can too. Now let’s upload some video!!
